His n Hers ‘Borrowed Style’

I’ve wanted to do a his n hers style post for a while now but unsurprisingly it took a lot of persuasion to get there! This may sound vain, and a lot of people will probably be disagreeing with me in a line of pitchforks, BUT you have to be conscious when both wearing prints or certain colours that they don’t clash. I am not always conscious of what I wear when paired with Pete, but it’s sometimes exciting to make the colour spectrum match and work together. I decided on clashing prints within my own outfit but stuck to monochrome, whilst we both channelled the Autumnal theme.

New Look Coatigan £24.99/Missguided Mini Dress £9.99 (Sold Out)/Nica Lauren Grab Tan Bag £59/Boots (Similar) New Look £24.99/Sight Station Reading Glasses £18/

I love Coatigans for this time of year and New Look seem to be full to the brim with perfect selections like this one. I don’t usually consciously clash prints but thought that this jacket worked perfectly with the Missguided bargain I managed to snap up. The Nica bag is the perfect size for an everyday handbag, and worked well with the brown leather chelsea boots I nabbed off eBay last year. I would also highly recommend Debenhams for reading glasses if you need them, as Sight Station have such a beautiful selection- I want to buy all the frames!

Jack Wills Salcombe Nevis ‘Pheasant’ Shirt £59.50/ Jack Wills Paddlesworth Classic Gilet £69.50/ Topman Vintage Slim Jeans £30/ Vans Navy Era 59 Trainers £52

Recently we had a little Jack Wills haul as they are spot on for Autumn and managed to pick up the classic gilet in the sale for £70 & a Pheasant shirt that he was meant to be saving for my 21st but clearly couldn’t resist wearing ( I like it too so I don’t mind). Days I see Pete without his Vans are rare, and we always manage to pick up another pair on a shopping trip- TK Maxx have been quite good for some gems lately.

Let me know what you think of these ‘style’ posts and I might make it a weekly/bi weekly feature if I can persuade of course 😉

  2. Heyyyy there Mr Blonde! Hehe. My hubby would NEVER do this, which is a shame because I’ve styled him up all pretty for A/W! It’s true, you DO need to avoid clashing and co-ordinate to a certain degree, it’s just good sense when the world’s eyes are on you these days. Really feeling the coating an and Pete’s shirt 😙👌

  3. Another gorgeous outfit, that bag is perfect, I really am in need of a good tanned colour bag! You both look perfect together, love your styles! xxx
